Journey Home
My wooden panels are prepared with the traditional method using rabbit skin glue and marble dust. The recipe is a medieval one and takes several days to complete with up to 8 layers and sanding in between each. The watercolour is then applied in many layers as well. This is the road heading north to home.
Artist biography or statement:
Working and exhibiting as an artist for over 35 years. My practice explores the psychological and physical aspects of life, an attempt to come to terms with the ephemerality of existence.
