Brush Turkey Cafe
The Brush Turkey cafe was constructed over four years by volunteers, with money provided through a grant. It was opened in 2004 and provided a training ground for young adults to learn hospitality and internet skills. It is used for community dinners and events run by local volunteers, although 2020 and 2021 were very quiet years in the cafe thanks to COVID.
From December 2023 The Brush Turkey Cafe has hosted the “Bites & Brew” cafe through a lease from the Wootton Community Network.
Bites & Brew is operated by Jamie Harding.
Jamie is an experienced chef and is serving amazing breakfasts and lunches, coffee and snacks to locals and visitors alike.

The cafe will continue to be available for community events and private functions outside of Bites & Brew trading hours.
The Brush Turkey is a community-based café and the centre of the Wootton Community Network.
