Wootton is located 20 kilometres north of Bulahdelah on the Mid North Coast of NSW. It lies on Wootton Way between Bulahdelah and Coolongolook. Wootton Way was originally part of the Pacific Highway until 1999 when the Wootton village was bypassed by the A1 Freeway.

Community Hall
Wootton Hall is situated behind the Brush Turkey Café and is available to hire for community, private and commercial functions. The community hall is managed by a committee of volunteers and is available for hire.
Community Network
The Wootton Community Network (WCN) is a non-profit volunteer-run organisation. As the Wootton Community Reserve Trust Manager, it manages the Wootton Community Centre and the associated crown lands.

The Wootton Community Network (WCN) is a non-profit volunteer-run organisation. As the Wootton Community Reserve Trust Manager, it manages the Wootton Community Centre and the associated crown lands.
The crown lands reserve consists of the School Hall and Toilet Block, The Brush Turkey Cafe, the former school master’s house, the tennis courts, and tennis shed and surrounding lands.
History
Established in March 1999, after a series of public meetings, the Wootton Community Network was formed to encourage community spirit, sustainable development, and local employment.
Aims
- to see the local area prosper once more
- improvements to existing services and the creation of employment opportunities in an environment of community, not isolation.
- to enhance the lives of people living within the local community.
- to serve as an example to other small isolated communities.
- to develop a sense of pride within the community.
Wootton Valley News
The Wootton Valley News is published every 2 months and is distributed free to 500 homes in Wootton, Coolongolook, Bungwahl, Bunyah and Bulahdelah.

Brush Turkey Cafe
The Brush Turkey cafe was constructed by volunteers, with money provided through a grant. Opened originally in 2004.
